PGA TOUR GOLF 2022 - EVENT ONE - FORTINET (potg) - 3RD ROUND

 

Hideki Matsuyama shot a 66 in Round 3 to propel himself back into the lead of the Fortinet Championship.  Webb Simpson shot the round of the day with a brilliant 64 to move into 2nd place, while Mark Hubbard hit 66 to share 3rd place with JJ Spaun and Seth Reeves.

Max Homa hit a 9 over par 80 in the worst round of the day.  Overnight leader, Harold Varner III dropped back to 8 under par with a disappointing 74 and 2nd placed Cameron Young shot a 73 to drop to 8 under par and 5 shots off the lead.
